The number of people receiving salaries in Georgia exceeded 1,000,000 in February, marking a 4% annual increase, according to PMCG’s latest Employment Tracker.
The largest share of employees, 35% each, earned between GEL 1,200–2,399 and GEL 2,400+, with the number of workers in these categories rising by 4% year-on-year. Meanwhile, 11.6% of employees (116,105 people) earned GEL 600 or less, a 1.5% increase compared to last February.
On the labor market side, 6,382 job vacancies were posted on jobs.ge in February 2026. While this is a slight 0.5% decrease from January, vacancies increased by 14% year-on-year.
The fastest-growing categories were IT & programming (21%) and administration & management (19%). From December 2025 to February 2026, the highest share of new postings came from sales and procurement roles.
