During supervisory activities conducted in June, 39 taxpayers in Armenia were found to have unregistered employees, according to the press service of the State Revenue Committee. The total fines amounted to 36.7 million drams (over $94,000).
Of these, 13 taxpayers were fined 27.5 million drams (over $70,000) for having three or more unregistered employees.
Violations were detected in various sectors, including the sale of pharmaceuticals and medical supplies, cosmetics and accessories, education, public catering, fuel trade, and construction.
