One Window Principle will be introduced in Georgian Ports. As Tamar Ioseliani, Director of the Maritime Transport Agency of Georgia, told Business Course, the purpose of the decision is to reduce the burden for ships linked to formalities.

"We implement projects with the help of our partners. It is planned to introduce one window principle in Georgian ports. This is the digitization of ship registration procedures. With EBRD funding, the research is already done and we are slowly moving on to the implementation of the second phase. This will allow us to fully deliver all services at the ports. All this will be digitized and will allow us to reduce the time that is very important for the ship owner," she said.

According to the 2021 report of the Maritime Transport Agency, USD 120,000 has been allocated for the feasibility study on introducing the one window principle in Georgian Ports.
