“The Georgian people must once again recognise that there is no rule-based international order; it is all a mirage, designed to impose itself upon the small and the weak, to speak to us as if some order, some norms, are universally obeyed by all countries and nations,” said the Chairman of the Parliament, Shalva Papuashvili.
The Speaker of the Parliament further stated that this was confirmed by the Finnish Foreign Minister, who visited Georgia under the mandate of the OSCE Chairperson-in-Office.
“By participating in an unlawful gathering, she effectively demonstrated that the Georgian state holds no significance for her. The legacy of Merab Kostava, the struggle for our independence, our sovereignty, and our laws, none of it matters to her. In the eyes of the Finnish Foreign Minister, all of this is worth nothing, and we, too, are insignificant. She has traded her own reputation as OSCE Chairperson-in-Office for a 39-second video,” declared Shalva Papuashvili.
