In 2025, more than 800 employers submitted 14,611 job vacancies to Georgia’s Employment Agency, according to the Ministry of Health’s annual report on employment policy planning and implementation.

The report notes that the high number of vacancies indicates sustained demand for labor in the Georgian job market, while intermediary employment services continue to play an important role in connecting employers with job seekers.

It also highlights a shift in labor demand toward higher-skilled and technical professions, while demand for office support and administrative roles has significantly declined.

During the year, 4,684 job seekers were matched with employers, including 2,454 women, 1,423 young people, 181 persons with disabilities, 282 internally displaced persons, and 1,722 socially vulnerable individuals.

A total of six job fairs were held in 2025, bringing together 203 employers and more than 900 job seekers. As a result of these services and events, 1,877 job seekers were successfully employed, marking a 15% increase compared to 2024.

The report also shows strong growth in internship programs, with 42 employers and 224 interns participating. Employer participation in internships increased by 110%, while the number of interns nearly tripled, with expansion observed across new regions.
