According to the Civil Aviation Agency, Georgia’s airspace saw a 2% increase in traffic last year, with a total of 305,962 flights recorded, including takeoffs, landings, and overflights. The rise reflects continued growth following the COVID-19 pandemic and the Ukraine war, as some aircraft rerouted south due to the conflict and related sanctions.

  • 2023: 232,491
  • 2022: 147,253
