Prime Minister Irakli Kobakhidze announced at the opening of Eagle Hills’ Tbilisi office that the UAE-based company will bring over USD 6 billion in foreign direct investment to Georgia.
Kobakhidze highlighted Eagle Hills’ global reputation for quality and innovation, calling the project a historical milestone in Georgia’s development. He expressed gratitude to Mohammed Alabar and the company’s UAE partners for their commitment.
The projects include:
- Tbilisi, Krtsanisi: A “New Green City” on 600 hectares, featuring over a million square meters of residential and commercial spaces, hotels, and recreational areas.
- Batumi: A premium-class resort, the “New Pearl of the Black Sea”, on 250 hectares, focused on high-end tourism infrastructure.
Kobakhidze emphasized that the developments will create thousands of high-paying jobs during construction and operation, strengthen Georgia’s position as a regional investment hub, and enhance the urban landscape of Tbilisi and Batumi.
“I am confident these projects will become another calling card of our country. On behalf of the Government of Georgia, I promise full support and assistance,” he added.
