Georgian winery Papris' Valley exports its wines to more than 27 countries, with a primary focus on Western markets, founder Shalva Kurdadze told TV-program Business Course.

The winery’s export destinations include the United States, Japan, South Korea, and Paraguay. Kurdadze said the company had achieved record export results this year, supported by growing sales among existing partners and expansion into new markets.

“Our wines are premium-priced, so individual markets do not purchase large volumes. However, overall exports have reached significant levels,” Kurdadze said, adding that the winery ships only small quantities to Ukraine among CIS countries.

He noted that international buyers often discover Papris' Valley independently, while limited access to international trade fairs remains a challenge for smaller producers.

Kurdadze called for increased funding for wine marketing and greater support from Georgia’s National Wine Agency, including opportunities for small wineries to participate in major international exhibitions such as ProWein.
