The Parliament calls on the executive authority to intensify its efforts for the EU integration of Georgia as is provided in the Draft Resolution registered at the Bureau today.
In the Document on “EU Integration of Georgia”, the Parliament calls on the EU member states and the EU institutions to take all respective steps for the acceleration of the EU integration of Georgia.
The Draft is initiated by Majority MPs: Maka Bochorishvili, Nikoloz Samkharadze, Irakli Kobakhidze, Mamuka Mdinaradze, Levan Karumidze, Tamar Taliashvili, Givi Mikanadze, Mariam Lashkhi and Sozar Subari.
The Bureau got cognizant of the March 15-18 plenary agenda, which also includes the Ministerial Hour on March 17 – the Interior Minister, Vakhtang Gomelauri to report to the Parliament.
The Speaker, Shalva Papuashvili introduced the new legislative initiatives and the organizational issues.
MPs approved the decisions of the Board of Treasurers and the extension of the consideration term with 30 days of certain Bills.
