On December 10, the Georgian Parliamentary Committee on Procedural Issues and Rules has suspended the mandates of MPs Bidzina Ivanishvili, Irakli Garibashvili, and Mikheil Kavelashvili, the latter of whom has been nominated as a presidential candidate.
The mandates of eight lawmakers from the Georgian Dream party will be suspended pre-term. The Committee reviewed the cases of Irakli Kobakhidze, Maka Botchorishvili, Davit Songhulashvili, Anri Okhanashvili, and Mariam Kvrivishvili.
The decision will be submitted to the Bureau and presented for a vote during the plenary session.
