The Bureau discussed the Plenary Agenda, which enshrines the deliberation of the constitutional amendments.

At the First Plenary Session of the Autumn Session, the MPs will discuss the draft constitutional law in the first reading.

The draft law regulates the issues related to the reduction of the election threshold for the next two parliamentary elections in Georgia, the number of faction members in the current and next two convocations of the Parliament and the election of the Prosecutor General by the Parliament for the next two convocations.

The change will be reflected in the transitional provisions of the Constitution. The new norms will be temporary and will apply to the Parliament for the next two convocations.

The changes require at least 113 votes to be approved.

In addition, more than 30 issues are scheduled to be discussed at the First Plenary Session.
