Armenian Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan met with Anton Hofreiter, Chair of the Bundestag Committee on European Union Affairs, during Hofreiter’s official visit to Yerevan on November 21.
According to the Armenian government’s press service, the discussion highlighted the dynamic nature of Armenian-German cooperation across various sectors and emphasized the importance of inter-parliamentary dialogue on international platforms.
The meeting focused particularly on strengthening Armenia-EU relations and the European Union’s support for democratic reforms in Armenia.
A significant portion of the discussion addressed the ongoing peace negotiations between Armenia and Azerbaijan, including issues related to border delimitation.
Both sides underscored the crucial role of the EU’s civilian mission in Armenia in ensuring regional stability. Other regional issues of importance were also discussed during the meeting.
