On the sidelines of the European Political Community summit, the Prime Minister of Armenia and the President of France discussed bilateral relations and the process of normalizing Armenian-Azerbaijani relations.
On November 7, in Budapest, Armenian Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan met with French President Emmanuel Macron. According to the Prime Minister's Office, the two leaders discussed a wide range of issues related to Armenian-French cooperation.
Both parties emphasized the importance of holding regular high-level meetings, which provide opportunities to discuss bilateral matters as well as other topics of mutual interest.
During the meeting, they addressed joint projects in the fields of economy and infrastructure. Special attention was given to Armenia’s engagement with the European Union, including EU-supported reforms and the ongoing dialogue on visa liberalization.
The leaders also exchanged views on the process of normalizing relations between Armenia and Azerbaijan. Prime Minister Pashinyan reaffirmed Armenia’s commitment to a peaceful agenda and steps toward ensuring regional security and stability.
The meeting took place as part of the fifth summit of the European Political Community, held in the Hungarian capital.
