Armenia has introduced the "Crossroads of Peace" project and is ready to implement it as the sole program for unblocking regional communications.
In an interview with Armenpress, Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan, responding to Azerbaijani President Ilham Aliyev's remarks on the "Zangezur Corridor," stated that Yerevan has already made a concrete proposal to Baku regarding the opening of the railway route connecting Yeraskh-Sadarak-Ordubad-Meghri-Zangilan.
Developed by the Armenian government, the "Crossroads of Peace" initiative aims to open all transport communications in the region, including Azerbaijan-to-Azerbaijan transit through Armenian territory and Armenia-to-Armenia routes through Azerbaijani territory.
"This is more than just a proposal - it is a concrete solution to specific issues. We are awaiting a positive response from Azerbaijan, after which the agreements will be formalized, and we will commence construction on our sections of the railway," Pashinyan emphasized.
