Plenary sessions will not be held this week due to avoid damage to the infrastructure and risks to the health of the people in the building, - reads the statement of the Parliament of Georgia.
Today, the bureau meeting and later the plenary session was planned to be held in the parliament.
"On March 7-8, the damage was made to the building and infrastructure of the Parliament as a result of violent actions by some of the citizens gathered near the Georgian Parliament.
In order to restore the damage, and protect the health of the members of the Parliament and the employees of the office, plenary sessions will not be held in the parliament this week.
Only those employees will be allowed in the building, who should participate in the restoration of the office of the Parliament of Georgia," the statement of the Parliament's office said.
