The National Democratic Institute (NDI) publishes a new sociological survey, which reflects the positions of citizens as of October 2023. NDI asked citizens how much money would be enough for their family to live comfortably.
According to the results of the NDI research, plurality say their family needs a monthly income of over GEL 3000 to live comfortably.
Tbilisi residents are most likely to need over 4000 GEL, while plurality in villages and ethnic minority regions would live comfortably with
GEL 2000 income.

b) Up to 1001-2000 GEL - 22%;
c) GEL 2001- GEL 3000 - 22%;
d) GEL 3001- GEL 4000 - 9%;
e) 4001+ GEL - 32%;
f) I don't know - 6%;
g) Refusal to answer - 1%.
The mentioned report is based on the results of a face-to-face survey of the adult population of Georgia conducted from October 14 to November 4 across the country (excluding the occupied territories). The October survey includes a total of 2,068 completed interviews. The average margin of error in the survey is +/- 2.2%.
