Georgian Prime Minister Irakli Kobakhidze met with a delegation of the Community of Portuguese Language Countries (CPLC).
The current cooperation with the CPLC and its member states, alongside prospects of deeper partnership, were discussed at the meeting.
The conversation touched on stepping up the economic cooperation between the member and observant CPLC states, both in bilateral and multilateral formats. Important global political processes were also discussed.
The head of the delegation assured the Head of Government of the community's strong support for Georgia's territorial integrity and non-recognition policy of occupied territories.
Georgia joined the Community of Portuguese Language Countries as an associated observant state in 2014.
