Georgian Prime Minister Irakli Kobakhidze met with Nikol Pashinyan, Prime Minister of the Republic of Armenia, the Government Administration reported.
At the one-on-one meeting, the parties discussed the friendly and good neighborly relations between Georgia and the Republic of Armenia.
It was noted that the two countries enjoy active cooperation across a variety of areas, including trade, transport, and tourism.
The Prime Minister of Georgia thanked Nikol Pashinyan for supporting Georgia’s territorial integrity and sovereignty, and reaffirmed Georgia’s support for the territorial integrity of the Republic of Armenia.
Attention was paid to regional processes.
Prime Minister Irakli Kobakhidze emphasized Georgia’s firm support of peaceful coexistence in the South Caucasus, and the country’s commitment to continuing playing its positive role in ensuring regional peace and stability.
The parties expressed the hope that the strategic partnership between the two countries will promote further deepening cooperation in a variety of areas to bring tangible outcomes to both countries.
After the one-on-one meeting, negotiations continued in an extended format, with representatives of the Governments of both countries participating.
Irakli Kobakhidze invited Nikol Pashinyan to Georgia.
