The number of people receiving a monthly salary in Georgia reached 1,024,954 in June 2026, up 1.2% from May and 2.8% compared with June 2025, according to the PMC Research Center's Employment Tracker.
The share of employees earning up to GEL 600 per month fell to 10.8% of all salaried workers. This represents a decline of 0.5 percentage points compared with May and 1.5 percentage points year-on-year.
The largest group of employees, 34% (348,484 people), earned between GEL 1,200 and GEL 2,400, while 18% (184,491 people) received salaries between GEL 600 and GEL 1,200.
Meanwhile, the share of employees earning GEL 2,400 or more rose to 37.4% (383,332 people), up 1.6 percentage points from May and 4.6 percentage points from a year earlier. Those earning GEL 9,600 or more accounted for 3.3% (33,823 people), also increasing on both a monthly and annual basis.
