Lasha Zhvania, the Georgian Ambassador to Israel said Prime Minister Irakli Garibashvili’s visit to Israel will be the beginning of many new issues and first of all, a free trade agreement, which was signed during the visit of the Georgian Foreign Minister to Israel, and negotiations will begin by 2024.

“This will give a new start to economic relations between the two countries, including the inflow of investments to Georgia. We all know that tourism is one of the huge priorities and a lot of tourists come to Georgia from Israel, we can get even more,” Zhvania said.

Georgian Prime Minister Irakli Garibashvili, accompanied by the delegation left for Israel yesterday. According to the government administration, Georgian PM would meet his counterpart Benjamin Netanyahu.
