Population will be provided with food and necessary medicines in Guria - approximately 10,000 packages will arrive in the region, - Prime Minister Irakli Kobakhidze told journalists.
According to him, the provision of food and medicines to the population will continue on a permanent basis.
In addition, the Prime Minister noted that at this stage, electricity is not supplied to about 10,000 subscribers in Guria and work in this direction will continue actively.
“As of Monday, approximately 35,000 subscribers were not supplied with electricity and this number has been reduced to approximately 10,000, that is, restoration work will be carried out intensively. The main thing is that [the work] continues. There are still about 10,000 subscribers who do not have electricity and, of course, work will continue actively in this direction.
Provision of food, provision of medicines - this will continue on a permanent basis. Approximately 10,000 packages will arrive in Guria. The population will be provided with food and necessary medicines. Emergency teams are working smoothly, responding to calls without delay. Headquarters are mobilized in all directions and the main thing is to continue intensive work," Kobakhidze said.
