Georgian President Salome Zourabichvili on Thursday met with the members of the board of directors of the European Bank for Reconstruction and Development (EBRD), discussing the bank’s support in Georgia’s European integration.
According to the President’s press office, the meeting covered Georgia’s European integration path and challenges in the region, as well as the EBRD’s role in enhancing the nation’s function in connectivity between Europe and Asia.
Zourabichvili “anew stated that the country’s accession to the European Union was the choice of the absolute majority of the Georgian citizens, with no alternative to this European choice for the public.”
