"The price of our New Year’s bags ranges between GEL 40-60," Nino Resulidze, marketing manager of the Georgian traditional sweets manufacturing company "Kerki", told BM.GE.
According to her, all the products included in the New Year’s bags are produced by one company.
"There is a great demand for dried persimmons and churkkhela, so we made a New Year's set; We have two sizes of bags - in a small bag there are 7 types of products: three types of cherries, dried plums, dried tangerines and, of course, plums, and in a large bag, there are 10 types of products. The bags cost GEL 40-60", said Nino Resulidze.
As of her, all the products in the New Year's bags are Georgian, and the company's goal is to change the attitude of customers and buy Georgian sweets instead of imported chocolates.
The marketing manager of "Kerki" told BM.GE that this is the first year for the company that they have created a New Year's product.
"Last year we didn't have a New Year's set, because then we only produced three products, therefore we can't talk about the price change, but at this stage it will be much more budget-friendly for the customer to buy a bag than to buy a separate product", explains Nino Resulidze.
"Kerki" enterprise was launched in 2021 in Adjara region, Keda village. It is possible to buy "Kerki" products in "Goodwill", "Europroduct", "Waymart" and "Smart".
