Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan received Secretary General of the Black Sea Economic Cooperation Organization (BSEC) Lazăr Comănescu on July 1.
The Prime Minister noted that Armenia, which took over the presidency of the BSEC from July 1, places significant importance on the consistent development of cooperation between member states in various economic sectors. He emphasized the role of the organization in expanding regional cooperation and expressed the Armenian government's interest in enhancing connectivity in transport, energy, telecommunications, and other areas.
Lazăr Comănescu stated that they had effective discussions with the Armenian government officials to outline and implement priorities during Armenia's presidency of the organization.
The interlocutors exchanged ideas on the Armenian government's "Crossroads of Peace" project, the construction process of the North-South highway in Armenia, and issues related to regional economic cooperation.
