One of the largest airlines in the Middle East, Qatar Airways, has announced a temporary suspension of flights to several countries, including Armenia. This decision was made in response to escalating regional tensions and safety concerns.
According to information posted on the Armenian Aviation Facebook page, Qatar Airways has canceled flights not only to Armenia but also to Iran, Iraq, Lebanon, Jordan, and Kazakhstan. The timeline for resuming flights has not yet been determined.
The airline did not specify the exact reasons for the suspension, only citing general concerns about regional tensions and the need to ensure flight safety.
