According to the Prime Minister of Georgia, Giorgi Gakharia, rapid antigen-based tests should be expanded.

According to the Prime Minister, if home treatment, accommodation, and hospitalization are properly sorted, with rapid antigen testing, they will know their status and know how to treat themselves.

"These are our critical points that we need to go through: the first - of course - to reduce the hospitalization rate from 26 to 15%, Second - the introduction of therapeutic management elements in covid hotels and home treatment with primary health care; "Masks, self-isolation and rapid antigen testing are the tools that should help us get through this crisis, the peak," Gakharia said.

He advised Ekaterine Tikaradze to take into account that hospitals should not be overcrowded.
