In 2025, the government collected a total of 277 million GEL in revenue from fines issued for traffic violations. This information comes from a report published by the Treasury of the Ministry of Finance.
According to the document, of the total fines collected, 110.9 million GEL went to the central government budget, while 166.1 million GEL was allocated to local government budgets.
For comparison, in 2024, traffic fines amounted to 218 million GEL. Thus, in 2025, fine revenue increased by 27%, or 59 million GEL, compared to the previous year.
