According to Tbilisi Mayor Kakha Kaladze, works on Melikishvili Street are actively underway and the rehabilitation process will be fully completed in the near future.
He spoke about this before the government meeting, although he did not specify the time of completion of the works.
"Works on Melikishvili Avenue are actively underway and will be completed in the near future. Last layers of Asphalt pavement will be made on the entire avenue. At the same time, greening works are conducted, sidewalks are arrnaged with tiles, and road drawing works are also done, after that the project will be completed," Kaladze said.
The rehabilitation of Melikishvili Street was started by the Tbilisi City Hall in June. The cost of the project is GEL 6.4 million and the company B.M.C has won the tender announced for the works.
