Tbilisi Mayor Kakha Kaladze said on Wednesday, that the rehabilitation works on Tsereteli Avenue are fully completed.
As the mayor of the capital city noted at the government meeting, only the spring Gardening works are left, which will last for several days.
"The first stage of works on Tsereteli Avenue has already been completed. We had to make a statement several times in this regard. It was the making of underground communications, and road infrastructure, so that cars could move freely. We said that the rest of the work would be completed by the end of March, it was the installation of new outdoor lighting poles. Putting electric transmission lines underground, arranging underground waste bins had to be completed by the end of March. There were some defects that needed to be corrected. Today, the rehabilitation works on Tsereteli Avenue have been completed," said the Tbilisi Mayor.
Tbilisi City Hall terminated the contract with the two contractor companies for irresponsible attitude for the rehabilitation of Tsereteli Avenue in January this year.
