Representatives of 30 French companies will arrive in Armenia to "expand trade and economic ties"

French businessmen will visit Armenia to discuss with local partners the possibility of implementing investment programs in various fields. This was announced by the chairperson of the French department of Bouches-du-Rhône, Martine Vassal, during a meeting with Prime Minister of Armenia Nikol Pashinyan on April 9.

According to the press service of the Armenian government, Vassal touched upon cooperation with Armenia in economic, medical, social, and humanitarian spheres, as well as opportunities and steps for its expansion.

In particular, the chairperson of the Bouches-du-Rhône department council announced that on April 9, representatives of 30 companies operating in various sectors will arrive in Armenia from France to discuss with Armenian partners the possibilities of implementing investment programs and expanding trade and economic ties.

"It was also noted that the Tumo Creative Technologies Center will soon open in Marseille," the statement said.

In turn, Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan also attached special importance to the development and strengthening of bilateral economic cooperation, emphasizing the need for close interaction between governments and local authorities in this context.

The interlocutors also emphasized the importance of cooperation between the cities of Armenia and France and the stimulation of mutual tourist visits.
