“Today, we assessed the current situation in Adjara, where significant work has been carried out. The most severe challenges were in Batumi, Kobuleti, and Khelvachauri. However, thanks to ongoing efforts, the roads have been largely cleared,” GD Prime Minister Irakli Kobakhidze told the media.
Kobakhidze expressed gratitude to the Government of the Autonomous Republic of Adjara and all services involved in the prompt response.
“Our primary focus remains on Guria, where conditions are most difficult. Nonetheless, today’s visit allowed us to evaluate progress in Adjara. Electricity supply is nearly restored, with only minor local outages expected to be resolved by tomorrow. I appreciate the Adjara government and all services for their dedicated efforts,” Kobakhidze added.
