The Georgian Health Minister, Zurab Azarashvili, visited the newly opened Rukhi Republican Hospital in Zugdidi Municipality.
The Rukhi University Multi-Professional Clinic started its operations on September 15, offering various medical services such as neurosurgery, general surgery, maxillo-facial surgery, traumatology, urology, thoracic surgery, and cardiology.
The facility is equipped with modern medical equipment and staffed by qualified local and invited specialists.
The hospital has provided medical services to more than 2,000 patients in the two months since its opening.
“The strategic location of the clinic serves both the local population and citizens from the occupied territory,” the Health Ministry states.
