Russia will grant two Georgian dairy processing companies access to its market starting in November 2026, according to Russia’s Federal Service for Veterinary and Phytosanitary Surveillance, Rosselkhoznadzor.
The agency said its representatives are visiting Tbilisi to participate in a World Health Organization regional seminar and have met with Georgia’s National Food Agency under the Ministry of Environmental Protection and Agriculture.
According to Rosselkhoznadzor, Georgia has provided assurances that the companies’ products comply with Eurasian Economic Union requirements, prompting procedures to include the producers in Russia’s register of suppliers from third countries.
Russia is also prepared to inspect six Georgian fish and seafood producers seeking to export to the Russian market. If no violations are found, the companies will be granted access.
