Salaries of teachers will ‘significantly increase’ and those working full time will receive about 1,800 GEL monthly, Georgian Prime Minister Giorgi Gakharia has stated earlier today.
Gakharia said that education will remain a top priority in 2020.
“The government will pay particular attention to education issues in 2020 as the development of the field will increase the rate of employment and deal with problems on the labour market,” Gakharia said.
He stated that the government is “taking genuine steps” for systemic changes in the education field.
