The volume of business sector turnover increased by 0.6% and amounted to 29.2 billion GEL in the 3Q20 compared to the same quarter of the previous year – Geostat released a report yesterday.
The trade sector (including repair of motor vehicles and motorcycles) has the highest share of 38.3 percent% in the total turnover in the business sector, followed by arts, entertainment, and recreation with 28.4% share. Manufacturing with 9.7% of share in the total turnover of the business sector ends up in the top three fields with the highest shares in the 3Q20, as reported by Geostat.
The lowest share in the same period goes to electricity, gas, steam, and air conditioning supply field with 2.6% in the total turnover of the business sector. Other sectors excluding construction (7.9%), and transportation and storage (4.5%) constitute 8.7% shares in the total turnover of the business.
