Several new restrictions have been placed on public transport in Tbilisi to prevent the spread of the new coronavirus.
Tbilisi Mayor Kakha Kaladze said at a briefing on Tuesday that as of Wednesday passengers would be able to enter municipal busses the back door only, and driver’s area will be separated from the rest part to keep drivers safe from the novel coronavirus.
Kaladze said that Tbilisi metro and municipal buses are sanitized every day.
