Exports of Georgian snails increased almost 70 times. According to the data of the National Statistics Office of Georgia, in 2024, 115.5 tons of snails worth USD 481.6 thousand were exported from Georgia, while in the reporting period of 2023, only 1.2 tons worth USD 7 thousand were sold.

France - 39.6 tons of 376.3 thousand USD ;
Italy - 72 tons worth 89.9 thousand USD;
Turkey - 3.8 tons worth 15.3 thousand USD;
In the same period last year, Georgian snails were sold only in Italy.
