The National Statistics Office of Georgia (Geostat) published data on external merchandise trade for 10M2023.
External Merchandise Trade (excluding non-declared trade) of Georgia amounted to USD 17 billion in January-October 2023, 16.2% higher year-on-year.
The value of export increased by 12.5% reaching USD 5 billion 102 million, while the import increased 17.8% and amounted to USD 12 683 million.
The trade deficit equaled USD 7 billion 580 million and its share in trade turnover constituted 42.6%.
