Georgia’s Ministry of Health says the registration process for socially vulnerable families will be simplified starting July 1, allowing applications to be submitted online through an electronic system.
The new platform will also be available in Armenian and Azerbaijan languages. At the same time, the deadline for assigning subsistence assistance will be reduced to 60 days, speeding up access to financial support.
The changes are being implemented under the World Bank-supported “Human Capital” program, which aims to strengthen Georgia’s social protection system and improve access to public services.
The program, launched in 2022 and running until 2028, is backed by $400 million from the World Bank and €100 million in co-financing from the French Development Agency (AFD).
