Minister of Health Zurab Azarashvili links speculations about his resignation to his reforms, which are being carried out in the pharmaceutical and clinical sector.
To the journalist's question, whether it is true that Zurab Azarashvili will take the place of the Minister of Finance and Tea Tsulukiani or his deputy, Ilia Ghudushauri, will replace him, the Minister of Health answers that he will bring the reforms to the end.
"Big reforms that we have started in the healthcare system, both in terms of regulating the pharmaceutical market and the clinical sector, of course, cause speculations about my resignation.
I understand that an unregulated market would have provided much more opportunity, but it ultimately gave us an unacceptable level of quality in the medical sector.
One of you asked the Prime Minister the same question and he did not confirm it. We will definitely bring all the refroms aimed at the well-being of our population to the end," said Zurab Azarashvili.
