The founder of "PSP Group" and businessman Kakha Okriashvili states that stagnation in the economy is inevitable in the current situation.

The businessman says that "Georgian Dream" itself is destroying what has been created since 2012. As he notes, business creates the economy, and the government should support the private sector in this.

"I would like to respond to Irakli Kobakhidze's statement that the country's economy has grown by 40 billion GEL in the last 4 years. To explain it simply, what is the economy? It is the sum of all businesses, so Georgian economy is the sum of all businesses in Georgia. The government does not grow the economy, but businesses and businessmen grow and build it. The government can support business so that the economy grows, or vice versa, implement a policy that will lead to a decrease in business, that is what is happening now.

If since 2012 the government has had the right economic policy, which includes not only low taxes and simple state bureaucracy, but also the country's foreign policy, the Association Agreement with the European Union, which gave business confidence in Georgia as a country, today the government is destroying all this itself, both by changing its foreign policy and by persecuting businessmen with different opinions - whether it is informational attacks or restrictive and restrictive measures against business adoption of restrictive laws. This also includes the malfunctioning of the judicial system, or mechanisms for punishing businesses outside the court, etc.

In this situation, economic stagnation is inevitable. The solution is new elections and the introduction of truly democratic approaches in society, including in business. I am still optimistic and believe that a turnaround in our country's politics will occur! ", - Kakha Okriashvili said.
