According to the 2025 annual report published by Georgia’s State Procurement Agency, a total of GEL 6.4 billion in contracts were signed through the procurement system last year - a 21% decrease compared to 2024.
Of this amount, GEL 1.7 billion was attributed to the top 10 government bodies with the largest procurement volumes. Leading the list is the Roads Department of the Ministry of Infrastructure, which signed GEL 562 million worth of contracts.
In second place is Tbilisi City Hall with GEL 205 million, followed by the Municipal Development Fund of the Ministry of Infrastructure with GEL 176 million in signed contracts.
