Junior and Senior BA program students from state universities with high academic performance will have the opportunity to undergo 1-year paid internships at state energy companies.
Head of the Energy Policy and Investment Projects Department of the Ministry of Economy and Sustainable Development, Jubo Turashvili organized the first presentation at the State Technical University. Georgian Energy Development Fund Director, Jaba Khmaladze attended the event.
According to Turashvili, efficient work of energy companies significantly depend on the qualified staff. He said he believed that the program would motivate students.
“I believe that this program will motivate students and give the opportunity to get practical knowledge and experience during their studies, and after graduation, they will come to the field as already experienced professionals,” he said.
