Gazprom Armenia has announced a temporary suspension of natural gas deliveries to Armenia on December 26 from 1:00 PM to 7:00 PM.

The interruption is due to emergency repair and restoration work on a 125-kilometer section of the Kazakh-Saguramo main gas pipeline (DN 1000), part of the North Caucasus–Transcaucasia transit gas pipeline.

Despite the suspension of Russian gas supply, the company guarantees uninterrupted gas service for all consumers in the country by utilizing internal reserves.

According to Gazprom Armenia, no restrictions for consumers are expected during this period.

Gazprom Armenia, a subsidiary of Russia's Gazprom and the country’s sole gas supplier, manages the full natural gas supply chain, including transportation, storage, and distribution. The company imports Russian gas through Georgia at a price of $165 per 1,000 cubic meters at the border.
