As of May 20, 2024, tax revenues and state duties in Armenia's state budget amounted to 953.3 billion drams (over $2.4 billion), representing 73.1% of the approved target for the first quarter.
According to the budget office of the National Assembly of Armenia, this figure exceeded the results of the same period last year by 12.5%. Compared to 2022, the growth was 28.1%, and compared to 2021, it was 57.2%.
Earlier, BMG reported that the state budget indicators of Armenia for the first quarter of 2024 reflected an increase in revenues by 38.1 billion drams (approximately $100 million). However, the fulfillment of the state revenue plan was 93.2%, with tax revenues and state duties falling short at 92%.
