Tbilisi and Batumi international airports served 2,305,876 passengers in 7M2023.

According to the data of TAV Georgia, the operator of Tbilisi and Batumi international airports, passenger flow in both international airports increased compared to the same period of 2022, while it decreased compared to the pre-pandemic 2019.

Namely, in January-July 2023, the number of passengers at Tbilisi International Airport increased by 30% to 1,969,629 compared to January-July last year, and compared to the first 7 months of 2019, the passenger flow decreased by 13%.

As for Batumi International Airport, the airport served 336,247 passengers in January-July. The growth was 7% compared to the first 7 months of 2022, while the rate was 3% behind the numbers of the same period of 2019.
