About a month has passed since Tbilisi Mayor Kakha Kaladze instructed Vice President Irakli Khmaladze to find new privatization facilities and activate in this direction. Kaladze said on May 6 that the coronavirus pandemic should not create problems for the revenue side and as many objects as possible should be prepared for privatization.
BM.GE asked Tbilisi City Hall, what objects were selected during this time and brought out for privatization. The capital's municipality says that additional assets have been found and processed during the Coronavirus epidemic. Various auctions worth about 20 million GEL have been announced and are currently underway.
"The search for the property continues, respectively, it will be periodically renewed and the auction page will be made public. Once every two weeks, a new auction will be held”, the City Hall said.
To remind, last week the auction of the territory of the former courts near the hippodrome was completed, however, the object had not been sold.
