Tbilisi Hills will build a solar energy park with a capacity of a half-megawatt on an area of 7,000 square meters in its own complex located in Gardabani municipality. USD 0.5 million have been allocated for construction. The permit for the construction of the park has already been agreed with Gardabani municipality.
According to the company, the station will start operating late this month.
"European countries have been making investments in this direction for years. In Georgia, "Tbilisi Hills" is one of the first to introduce this trend. The use of solar energy will become even more relevant in the future as a clean source of electricity," the marketing manager of "Tbilisi Hills" told BM.GE.
Project Tbilisi Hills is located on 331 hectares in Teleti, Gardabani municiaplity and includes residential houses, apartments and land plots. The project also includes a professional golf course and a restaurant.
The company says that its goal is to develop the Tbilisi Hills project in terms of technological innovation and renewable energy. USD 65 million have already been invested in the Tbilisi Hills project, and the total investment value of the project is about USD 400 million.
