The arrivals terminal waiting area at Tbilisi International Airport has now fully reopened, according to an official statement released by the airport authorities.
Management confirmed that all zones involved in passenger services have returned to normal operations.
“Due to technical issues caused by severe weather conditions, and in strict accordance with safety protocols, a section of the arrivals waiting area was closed overnight. For several hours, arriving passengers were redirected to use an alternative exit.
At present, all spaces involved in the passenger service cycle are operating as normal, and all restrictions have been lifted. We can confirm that no flights at Tbilisi International Airport were delayed as a result of this issue. We sincerely apologise to our passengers for any inconvenience caused,” Tbilisi International Airport released the details.
