Georgia’s Gross Domestic Product (GDP) in 2020 amounted to GEL 49 266.7 million. Tbilisi contributed to the GDP with the highest 50.5% share, followed by the Adjara Autonomous Republic with 8.9% and the Imereti region with 8.4%.
The 4th place goes to the Kvemo Kartli region – 8.0% and the fifth – Samegrelo-Zemo Svaneti with 6.4% share.
As for branches, the biggest share goes to wholesale and retail trade -22.8%, maintenance of auto transport, real estate-related activities – 12.8% and constructions – 11.5%.
